How many people are in the US? We’re facing everything from ridiculously low un-livable wages, inflation ($16 for a carton of eggs?!), being forced to pay monthly car/health/home/renters insurance on the off chance that you MAY need it at some point (but will also still have to pay BUTTLOADS more if you DO happen to need it), rental houses and apartments going up drastically every few months-year (who can pay $2,500/m for 3 beds?!), to being unable to buy a house because banks believe you can’t afford your own mortgage even though you’ve helped pay off at least 2-4 houses while renting.
When are we going to do something? I saw someone talking about how they and their spouse make a combined 100k salary per year and are STILL living paycheck to paycheck and struggling to pay rent, insurance, groceries, etc. It’s shocking to realize it almost doesn’t matter how much you make at this point, we’re ALL going to struggle. It’s just a matter of how bad are you gonna struggle before you give up or fight back.
Other countries are taking things into their own hands. When will we? We need a nation-wide revolt/protest/revolution/whatever-the-heck-ya-wanna-call-it!
Do you think we will/should “revolt” for lack of a better word? Why or why not?
