Antiwork

There’s are huge workforce shortages right now and employers are reacting by working their employees harder and not showing them how essential and valuable they are.

You’d think they’d treat their employees like gold so as not to lose even more. When it was east to find a job, employers were like, “Pfft, good luck finding better somewhere else.” You’d think they’d get with the times and say, “oh shit, sorry. What can I get you so you’ll stay? More money? More flexible hours? If you leave, we’re boned.” I guess their misplaced feeling of entitlement and superiority is hard to shake. I’ll say it in their language: they better learn that treating their employees right is profitable soon because this is hurting their bottom line.
