You’d think they’d treat their employees like gold so as not to lose even more. When it was east to find a job, employers were like, “Pfft, good luck finding better somewhere else.” You’d think they’d get with the times and say, “oh shit, sorry. What can I get you so you’ll stay? More money? More flexible hours? If you leave, we’re boned.” I guess their misplaced feeling of entitlement and superiority is hard to shake.
I’ll say it in their language: they better learn that treating their employees right is profitable soon because this is hurting their bottom line.
