I create an alter ego name and leave a really bad review on Google Maps. Indeed and Glassdoor. One of the companies I worked for a long time ago created a whole new listing on Google Maps just because of my bad review. Even though 16 former employees liked it. LOL
I tell people to avoid this company and other true things. I do not tell lies besides my alter ego name. Always 100% truthful with my negative review.
Especially have gone after staffing agencies where I live because staffing agencies are really bad here in my state. Lack of professionalism, are not 100% honest with people looking for work and are jerks to you. They just want a body for the job and do not care if you like the job or not. I was told so many lies when I applied to different staffing agencies. Although the ONLY good thing about staffing agencies is they find you a job quickly.
I think people are catching on to staffing agencies because a few of them have either bought out, merged, or gone out of business.
I give heads-ups to people on Google Maps. For instance, I applied for a warehouse job in an industrial part of town. Secretary gave me the job application and a surprise math pop quiz. Which was a pretty in-depth math-only pop quiz. It was 4 pages. I gave a heads up in my Google Maps review to give people a heads up when they apply for this company and a few people liked it.
For the good companies I worked for or the jobs I liked. I do not leave a review. Just leave them alone.
Just wanted to share what I do to help other people avoid those bad jobs, bad companies, or both.
