This is why I am Anti-Work. Do you think any of these people wanted to be there? They didn’t dream of working at this company. Even if they did, they absolutely would not have traded their life for this company.
Think of why they went to work; pay bills, buy groceries, save up for a vacation, get a new place to live. If they had a family, and were working for them, that family still has those worries today – along with mourning a loved one.
Why should you care? One, no one will be held accountable. They’ll get a fine that costs them one workers yearly pay. But two? Look at the reviews online for working there. This place had a reputation for being awful, mistreating employees, and being unsafe.
