Thought this sub would enjoy this story …

I worked for a large insurance company in the Auditing Department. When you call a company and you hear “this call may be monitored for quality assurance and training purposes.” well I worked in that department. It was part of the training department which assisted new C.S.R.’s who were on the phone answering calls from customers. So the way it was setup was like this. H.R. offices, then cubes upon cubes of new hires and then us. All open floor except H.R. that had closed offices. The reason it was setup this way was so that if the new hires had a question, we could go help them out. They had little flags they would hold up. It was pretty sad. The rest of the time we would pull random calls and provide feedback to the C.S.R.’s. It was actually a great job. Whoever setup the office didn’t really think…

Whoever setup the office didn’t really think this through though. One day I was listening to a call I had pulled when suddenly there was quite a scene. One of the “Coaches” (the Leads when the C.S.R.’s graduate training and get assigned to a team) had just been fired by H.R. They were escorting her out. I was surprised because this girl was really a sweetheart. Very laid back, nice, cute hippy chick. Well she was pissed! When they came out of the office she yelled at the top of her lungs “this place fucking sucks!”and then turned around to storm out and walked right in to the wall. This pissed her off even more and she went ape shit! After they got her out finally, the little flags started popping up all over the place. All the customers on the phones heard everything. They all wanted to know what was going on. I’ll never forget that. It was wonderful to see and hear her scream that SO loud. 🤣
