I should be smart enough to expect this kind of stupidity, but it still dumbfounds me everytime. The fact that not everyone can own a business is SUCH a simple concept. It cant work for countless reasons. These people and the “get a better job” people somehow don’t understand that if you leave a job that doesn’t pay enough, someone else is still gonna have to work that job, AND NOT GET PAID ENOUGH. They think it’s an individual issue and completely ignore that we care about OUR FELLOW WORKERS, it’s not just about one person being able to get a better job or not. There is a systemic problem of greed and exploitation, one person improving their own life doesnt solve the LARGER ISSUE. There’s a million things i could say here but ima just stop, ik yall get it. It’s so frustrating that people don’t understand that we care about our fellow workers and the actual issues, not just ourselves.
