Time-Clock Policy WAY too strict

I’m coming here because I cannot find any answers to this issue elsewhere and there’s no way this can be allowed. My girlfriend works at a grocery store and they just implemented a time-clock point system where every time you miss clocking in or clocking out for breaks a point is deducted. Points are also deducted for being sick. If you get in a car accident and need to recover from injuries, a point is deducted. That alone is crazy but sort of understandable. It probably goes against their sick policy but they don’t want their employees taking advantage of it. What is NOT okay is how she clocked out 2 minutes too late and 30 seconds too early and 2 points were deducted from her 12 total points. It’s been 2 days since this policy has been enacted and she’s already lost 3 of 12 points.

Is there anything that can be done about this??
