My friend has been job searching for months doing tonnes of bullshit job searches with tonnes of quizes that take hours but never hears back. These aren't fancy jobs either, they've been applying to entry level stuff too. The jobs are all kind of shady and fucked though, like advertising incorrectly, no full-time. They live in Denver where minimum wage was put up, but in response companies are just tryna avoid giving people living wage hours and shit.
They are good with data, and admin related stuff. How risky is it to lie on a resume? How often do they check this shit? What are the possible consequences? I think risking getting fired is worth it if you still have that job for an amount of time and can save up the cash. It would be nice to get a jo that doesn't deal with customers a lot too, their last job was a hellhole. I doubt there would be legal consequences to lying on your resume, but forging documents, I'm sure there would be legal consequences for that, but what are the risks and how likely are they and all that?
Is this idea doable? Like if the job isn't that important, entry level admin and shit are they likely to verify your degree?
Maybe this isn't the right place for this question, but if you have a better place please direct me to that place.
