So I'm a worker at a restaurant and I work two jobs there. I clean tables/floor and stock stuff up for waiters like soda, tea, water, ice, cups, and silverware. For the other job I also prep food to be taken out for the waiters/togos and make sauces.
So now that you have an idea on what I do. Here is what happened… It was busy and I had to stock the ice. Someone cleared off a table that I haven't gotten to yet ,because the customers left as I was stocking ice. My manager tried to seat the customers at this table that was still dirty and didn't realize until she got there. She got pissy with me about not finishing it EVEN THOUGH I NEVER GOT TO THAT TABLE BECAUSE I WAS STOCKING ICE!
So naturally I started getting pissy, because I don't like it when people get pissy with me for something I have no control of. She didn't like that I was getting pissy and sent me to the back to prep food, because she didn't want to deal with me. (Kinda like how a mom sends there kid to their room when they don't want to deal with them.)
So I'm going on break after working in the back for a bit because it was towards the end of my shift. I go on break and I apologize for getting pissy and I wanted to talk it out. She dismissed me, because she didn't feel like dealing with me. This isn't the first time I wanted to quit this place. I just need to get my driver's license and car. I carpool with my dad, because he also works there.
Once I get my driver's license and car… I'm getting the fuck out of here. I'm sorry my fellow coworkers that I actually like. I'm out of here.
