I work for an amusement park and our parent company Cedar Fair struggled to find workers last year due to covid-19 and the restrictions on visas. They increased our pay by $2 and gave us a bonus of $2 for every hour we worked through a certain period. They also increased our pay to $20 between September and October (Halloween events). There has been no monetary incentives this year, in fact I believe the park is losing money. This job exploits the young, old, and disabled. I get tired of picking up the slack for coworkers who goof-off. I feel overworked, underappreciated and I'm only doing the bare-minimum going forward. This job doesn't pay me enough to kill myself.
