While I understand not wanting to work at a corporation for free, what about non-profits/charities? Is it always about how much you can get from the deal? Doesn't that just continue to fuck over the people at the bottom?
I cannot afford to pay for anything because I am disabled and who knows if I will ever be approved for disability. Capitalists would say that's my problem and I should get busy decreasing the surplus population. A lot of you sound very similar. Where do you draw the line? If a food pantry cannot afford to pay you $20/hour, should they shut down? Should a doctor or lawyer ever do pro bono work? Should a construction worker ever help someone out for free or even lower their hourly rate?
Does charity exist at all in the antiwork/fuck you-pay me world?
