To give 2 week notice or not to give 2 week notice

I’m wondering if I should give 2 week notice or not? Back story: worked at company for 3 years, new owner started to run things differently and he fired me 8 months after he took over. Some time goes by and he calls me to do contract work occasionally. Fast forward more time he offers me full time position back. I take it. Now one year later, the manager and I have butted heads and been loud with each other over work disputes. Owner threatened to immediately fire me over “attitude” to manager and told me my work is not good enough( he was mad, my work is definitely good enough). I’m a high value employee doing 20k-40k a month in revenue. Manager and I talked and worked it out. I’m worried the owner may terminate me immediately if I offer 2 weeks notice.

I have a new position lined up for the first of the year.

Is it appropriate to quit on the spot when I start my new job considering my interactions with the owner? Or should I give him the 2 week notice. It’s hard to find people in my line of work and other people are also quitting/have quit.
