I had a middle age man tell me “I’m gonna give you some advice young lady, you need to smile more” when I was wearing a MASK lol
He said it in a really condescending tone too. I just pointed at my mask and said nothing.
I thought comments like this would stop when I wear a mask lol. I always try to be nice and polite with customers too lol so wtf??
I still get hit on my men over the age of 50 constantly who either talk about their ex wives or whose wives come in the next day (I’m in a pharmacy). And all this happens while I’m wearing a mask covering half my face and I’m not even hot.
Then I spend the rest of the day getting screamed at by Karens or having men talk to me like I’m an idiot. And I’m expected to be cheerful and upbeat and friendly and look like I’m “smiling” under my mask??? Ok
