So I'm an assistant general manager for a large fast food chain. I have roughly 40 employees that work under me, and I work 10 hours a day 5 days a week and do not get paid for over time due to being a salary employee.
So I've been getting in multiple arguments from a shift lead that is below me due to being just extremely disrespectful due to my age. They cause so much drama with me every day for no reason, and it's extremely stressful due to the fact that I hate drama and just try to have a peaceful day and come home.
So today I did a ton of things alone that normally other people do as well as doing all the dishes, taking orders for drive threw and counter plus making food sometimes alone with kinda large orders. I kept the dishes caught up all day until about 11 when it was time to break down clean and set up one of our food line. I did all of this alone with zero help due to people disappearing for long periods of time with no explanation and the other shift lead that was supposed to be helpings me just acted like they where doing something the whole time I was doing this and wouldn't stop talking and of course taking a whole food line down leaves a ton of dishes to so but it was my time to get off work after doing all this. I tell then I'm leaving and go to clock out and the shift lead who Is below me that did nothing the whole time I did all of this tells me I can't leave until all the dishes are done. Of course I basically told her to fuck off and that one of you that are not doing anything while I work my ass of all day can do it but she then calls my boss and try to get me written up as I'm leaving. It's complete bullshit that I would have to stay over and do this when I basically did half of everything for then today alone with zero help. I feel extremely disrespected and this combined with all the other drama seriously just makes me not want to even continue to work for this company when I can't even write someone up for siting on there ass all day for some damn reason. I seriously hate working in this bull shit society.
