I just started work as a teller in a financial institution. Today I found out that because of a coworker going on maturity leave & because “we are understaffed” I can't be guaranteed two days off in JUNE.
The real kicker in all this is the manager here has time off the same week im asking for (on different days) seemingly contradicting her own policy.
I just started and now I'm already looking at going back to the job search again. Its a shame too because it seemed like a really nice position.
