Tornado at work boss says talk to the owner about going home

So i live a block away from home . A tornado occurred warning said get home and hide. I tell my boss i want to do that. Especially since I have pets . What if a window breaks and my pets escape or get hurt ! My boss says to go across the street for shelter . We go but they say they cant access it to go to another business. This business has no underground shelter so we end up going to my place. Can’t believe these people
