My best friend went out of town on business. While he was gone, his (Muslim) wife got their car stuck in the mud in front of their house. She called a tow truck to pull it out and back onto the driveway. They quoted her $75. The towing guy came out, hooked the car up to a flat bed and pulled it out. Then to unhook it, he said he was going to need $350, bc he used “special equipment” (no he fucking didn't), and every five minutes he had to wait while this is sorted out is another $250. The police were called, but wouldn't help, so the guy is taking the car unless she gives him $600.
