At another company years ago they gave me a bump on pay for “acting manager” during a trial run. Then later another raise once I had the position.
Current company similar situation but I'm new to the company(6months in) so they figured I'd see how I liked it, without a pay increase, for 3 months.
Am I being exploited wage wise? Especially if I don't end up taking it, which I think might be the case. I now have more knowledge than I would as my previous/current position that's not required for that position.
Any advise for negotiations when I talk to my manager about it?
