I recently finished the final stage for a graduate job. Speaking with other candidates online, I discovered that the recruitment process is disorganised and maybe be susceptible to exploit (eg. they send the wrong emails, and don't get back to candidates in the times they set).
Could someone offer me some ideas or share their knowledge on how I could go about securing a job by exploiting this? My plan is to send an email or phone and ask a follow-up inquiry like:
Dear xxx,
Thank you for contacting me and accepting my application for this opportunity.
Could you kindly tell me when I can expect to receive a contract for this position?
All the best,
xxx
Because they are disorganised, I may fool them into thinking they have already made me an offer when they have not. If this doesn't work, I'll just say I emailed the wrong company.
Please let me know what you think.
