Trying to deal with office politics is exhausting

I’ve been at my current job for about 6 months and aside from a few things, I absolutely love it. This past week I got a promotion unexpectedly. The person who initially trained me is nice on a superficial level but she has done a few things that have made me not trust her. For example, leaving very relevant details out of my training despite me asking follow up questions, which has led to a few fires having to be put out after months of the task not being completed. She is not pleased about my promotion and is now trying to use my promotion as leverage to get a raise.
