I'm 37 years old, male, no kids. I'm currently in a job that I don't like anymore. I earn enough to save half of my after tax salary, this is because my apartment and car are paid off.
Instead of resigning from my job to try pursue my other side hustle full time, I was wondering if it's normal to work 2 weeks a month instead of 4 weeks? I was thinking of taking 2 weeks unpaid leave every month until I can leave my job permanently.
I wouldn't mind working sometimes during the two weeks of my unpaid leave, it's all about getting the job done right. I just detest going to the office 4 weeks a month, it kills my soul. My boss wouldn't mind I'm sure, especially if he'll pay half my salary for almost the same amount of work I'll do.
