I work for an international company and I was interested in another position. I've applied for a position I felt suited in. I'd be doing a lot of data management and analyzing trends. It's definitely in my skill set.
I've usually kept the anti-work stand point. I'm there to make money, don't work outside normal working hours, avoided OT like the plague. This company I got suckered into. I worked OT, signed up for extra shifts to help out.
There's been a lot of change in leadership and change in views on how the business should be conducted. I've worked under 5 different managers while working for a year and a half. My last manager, I worked under for 9 months. Our company mandated meetings were usually cut short. She'd tell me good job and I'd play on my phone for 25 out of 30 minutes. Due to that, I'm considered “underdeveloped” with business practices. That's the main reason for losing out on my promotion…
Now, I'm a mid 20 something without an appreciation for work and no major skills making his way through life. i've got a year until my bachelors. I might stay on and see that out, then find something in my field.
