I worked for a kosher butcher in Westchester NY. The only one left in northern Westchester. I was underpaid for 4 years, not only was I paid under the state minimum wage. I was also working 70 hours a week and not paid any overtime after 40 hours.
I was in a bad place at the time and I really needed the job. I was verbally abused on the daily by the owner. I have since moved and don't know if I have a case as it was a couple years ago and I don't love in the area anymore.
The owner is also selling non kosher meat to extremely religious people. He has illegal immigrants working for him that are lovely people and he treats them like dirt by screaming and threatening.
I wish this bastard would get what's coming to him.
