First post looking for some advice.
I work in It and have been doing support for the best part of a year solo, they recently gave me a 1.5k raise and now have brought on a new guy.
thats great but the only issue i have is this guy is my counter part doing the same job as me but earns 1.5k more than me at a starting salary.
how should i approach this.
I dont want to throw this guy under the bus and ive had talks about my salary before as it hasnt met inflation in my country. I was told before that other people lost parts of their bonus to make up mine.
we have the same if not similar levels of expertise.
