Hi y'all I'm m currently working for a temp agency but transferring to a permanent position. For this process there's a required drug screening. I waited last minute to do it in all honesty but to submit it on time I had to go during work hours. I was informed that I would not be compensated for my time going and getting tested. I'm currently in NYC and wondering if anyone has more information about this issue. I was informed that usually folks do it on their own time or during the weekends. What is the legality of this?
