My manager wants to transfer me to the tech support team, where I will be troubleshooting a lot. In the past 3 months, the company has had fewer tasks for us in the dev department. So, my manager gave me a lot of troubleshooting tasks that I was able to solve. However, some of the harder tasks, I was not able to solve some by myself, I asked my manager for help. He found me a liability for asking for too much help from him. Among our group, I am considered the less skilled one. I am surprised he gave me tech tasks instead of the easy front-end making components tasks. They may be trying to find ways to kick me out. Has anyone had a similar experience?
