An update to this post.
I decided to starting searching for a new job 3.5 months ago. I had received one offer that I didn’t think was good enough and decided to keep looking. A few days ago I accepted an offer that includes a 62% raise from where I am currently at. Where I’m currently at is 30% higher than I was two years ago. And the new job is almost identical to the old job, but in a different state with a tad higher cost of living. Not 62% higher though.
Goes to show how underpaid I was and how glad I am that I held out for this.
