Update: Furious parent who daughter was told not to discuss pay rate or be fired.. They want to settle. How much?

They are now asking how much do we want to settle and I have no where to go find a normal settlement amount. After filing a claim and multiple chats with the labor union later, the company has decided to settle.

They are now asking how much do we want to settle and I have no where to go find a normal settlement amount.

They said at minimum she gets the amount that she lost when she had to quit the job after submitting the claim (became a toxic/stressful environment) but is letting her decide the number.

Does anyone know what she should be looking at where she won't feel greedy, but at the same time, make sure that this company never treats their employees like this again?

Just some context, she's been there for 2 years, has been treated badly since the beginning… but she's was young when she started and the pay was ok for an 18-year-old. Multiple promised wage increases never happened and the employees that remained there (her friends) confirmed to the labor board about the abuse.

Any advice is appreciated.
