You may have seen me previous post about me getting reprimanded by one of the company owners for asking too many questions and making too many mistakes. I am 4 working weeks into a new job which since I started, I have been getting pulled into meetings with management at least once a week and told they have concerns about my performance. They have then told me I'm making too many mistakes and it's been brought to their attention that I'm asking too many questions. So I was taken into another surprise meeting today (no idea what it was about until the door was closed). Another colleague was brought in with me. I was then told yet again I'm asking too many questions and they have concerns about my competency as I'm making too many mistakes. I told them I'm four weeks in and this is unfair. I was then told to pack up my things and leave and I will be paid for my weeks notice. I did as advised – packed up my things and left. However, one of the company owners has since e mailed me inviting me into a meeting on Monday to review my probationary period (meant to be 6 mojnths, I've been there for one month) and one of the possible outcomes of this is I will be sacked. I'm very confused about what's going on here. I've told them I'm not attending anyway as the environment is incredibly hostile and as far as I was concerned I had been sacked this morning!
