I gave my manager the update and the strangest part was that they told me that HR hasn't gotten back about my positive test (despite me providing evidence from NHS). Manager kept using the whole uk rules about being allowed out while positive and told me that HR might not have been paying me for my sick leave.

Manager came me the choice and I have decided to stay away until I test negative (I have ordered a PCR test again) but have warned me that I might not be paid for sick leave.

I am currently stuck. Is it legal to not be paid for sick leave? What can I do?
