UPDATE: WHEN WE STRIKE WE WIN!!! Over the past two weeks dozens of McDonald’s workers in Oakland organized strikes after paid sick days were removed by new franchisees. Workers won at several locations; threats by management forced the final store to strike again. Days were returned within hours.
