Using Sick Time and Giving Notice

Hello I'm looking for advice that can hopefully help someone in the future as well. I'm really lost. I've been working at a Company for 5 years. I didn't start taking more sick time until this year. My bosses all wear the badge of honor “I've only taken a sick day in 10 years” or the best one “I still come in with a bad toothache because we can't show people we are weak” verbatim. I have racked up 35 hours of sick time. I have asked for a raise after finding out the new hire makes $1 less than me without a B.A. In another department, a coworker has not gotten a raise in 5+ years. I'm looking for advice that can hopefully help someone in the future as well. I'm really lost. I've been working at a Company for 5 years. I didn't start taking more sick time until this year. My bosses all wear the badge of honor “I've only taken a sick day in 10 years” or the best one “I still come in with a bad toothache because we can't show people we are weak” verbatim.

I have racked up 35 hours of sick time. I have asked for a raise after finding out the new hire makes $1 less than me without a B.A. In another department, a coworker has not gotten a raise in 5+ years. I mentioned to my boss (nothing about others pay) that I do so much, resourceful, innovative, and very reliable. Everyone comes in late or takes days off like candy. When I come in late or take a sick day, its chaos and coworkers and guest who visit hate it. I get asked by my boss why I'm late or how long will I be out if it is a day or 2.

My boss believes everyone should have 2-3 jobs to live within their means.

I have started applying to jobs and waiting for background check to clear. I may have 2 possible jobs soon (mormng and one on weekends). However, I would like to use my sick days. I have asked my boss ik conversation on 2 separate ocassions for the employee manual after using my sick days and getting yelled at (Her niece is the HR rep which only shows up 1 a month.) It has been weird at work. The paid Holidays are inconsistent (some years we are paid for Holidays) other years not.

I would appreciate any insight. I think my boss already got the memo I'm leaving because on ADP I'm the only one listed on the “People” working for the company. A few weeks ago, I could not even find my account or log in to ADP. I took a screenshot of it. None of my co-workers were open to write me a letter of recommendation because they don't want me to leave. My boss at least stated I could use her as a reference.

I'm debating if I should give 1-2 Weeks notice before leaving as the boss asked to please give advance notice. I did mention I would give notice but after being yelled at for using my sick time, I feel I should not.
