I want to say that this is not meant to be political. I have complied with getting vaccinated for the “big ones”
I have grown very resentful of being told that I basically have to get an influenza shot or I would be fired from my job .
To make it even more frustrating, I am wearing a mask all day long. And if I am sick, of course I would call off of work.
I would like to also state that I have gotten very bad reactions from the influenza shot. I could not lift my arm for two weeks and I do a very physical job.
When I got the Covid shot, it made me so sick that I was seriously afraid I was going to die.
Now, once again, my company has threatened my position in life with work if I don’t comply and get an influenza shot, so I have decided to fight it, and claim a religious exemption , I don’t agree with forced vaccinations on people. that’s just me. I think it’s wrong just because you want to look good for the company in the media doesn’t mean you should force your employees to get vaccinated for influenza.
I’m not really a religious person and I keep anything like that to myself. I am claiming religious exemption this year. I’m sick and tired of getting sick and tired from getting forced to receive the flu shot which makes me sick. I can’t lift my fucking arm And one time I had an abscess that had to be drained.
I’ve tried getting a medical exemption, but no one takes me seriously and it’s all pissing me off so bad I can’t even describe it.
The public should know that you can have a side effect from getting a flu shot. I’ve seen it with my own eyes and I work in healthcare. I’m not some crazy person or being told by a political party what to believe in.
Has anyone else had to deal with this nonsense ? Please share your story.
I don’t want to lose my job. It would seriously fuck everything up for me, but so would having another reaction to getting a shot. I feel like no one will listen to me so I’m gonna have to get drastic and right my religious exemption thesis.
