tl;dr: Work in Canada at a grocery store, NoFrills as a stocking clerk. bullshit. Looking for other jobs. Don't really know what to do. tired, shit job shit hours.just straight up fucking exploitation. We recently got a new 6 YEAR!! contract with a “raise.” Fucking 25c/yr or something like a couple bucks an hour in 4 or five years. OUR FUCKING UNION RECOMMENDED WE TAKE THIS!. The owner (of Nofrills or lobblaws) or ceo fucking is worth $18BILLION, and he got a FUCKING $3 MILLLION DOLLAR RAISE because consultants said HE WAS FUCKING UNDERPAID! I'm beyond furious.
I think they made like $500 MILLION in just the last fucking quarter..
Even the fucking $2 bump we got during a little bit covid was like a fuck you. we care.. Call OUR Business Ethics Hotline for real!

a dept manager said he was leaving, and made the mistake of telling the owner (I don't know why?) owner called the new place and fucked the guy from getting the job. WTF?. I rarely have to deal with him, and avoid eye contact on purpose, to make it clear I'm not a fan. ] He asked “have you done one of those work surveys?” the satifaction or do you get fucking valuable feedback at work, or something. The amount of money spent to design and produce and transport this shit.. and rreallly. I don't care” Why the fuck would I care. A chance to win a fucking gift card. You fill the fucker out. I'll sign it. FUcking fucking fuckity fuck fuck. I just said NO, and went back to my book.
We have a fucking sign on a wall that says something like BREAKS ARE 15 MINUTES NOT 20-30 not after you've come back from tim hortons they …..start when you leave your area not when you get to the break room, this is TIME THEFT!! if you do it you'll be disciplined might have to get the manager to clock you in/out.. for breaks yeah. fuck you. Walking across the fucking store is not part of my break.THAT is fucking time theft.
