Did anyone here ever work at Verizon? I came from a corporate call center, they’ve since moved everyone WFH. Our pay and shift bid and bonus were based on those obnoxious surveys customers get. Where you do everything you can, and customer is just salty and fails you on your survey. Management was constantly sending out emails to do better on the surveys, and if you failed one it was always your fault. Our fate was in the hands of these entitled customers, because again, these surveys determine your raise, shift bid and bonus. Now anytime I deal with a corporation and get a survey I’m like f- this sh!t. Even if the employee wasn’t particularly good. To me survey culture is the most maddening part of the capitalistic workforce. And it worked out in the company’s favor, because for every “failed” survey, they didn’t have to pay us as…
