Pretty straightforward; my work is planning an eye test for tomorrow. I have a vision disability from birth (“lazy eye”), though I don't treat it and depend on my dominant eye for most of my day-to-day. If you don't look carefully, you wouldn't be aware I have a disability
- Can they force me to take the test? I'm in Ontario Canada
- Is there any benefit to taking the test? I don't see any reason why my employer should have any information on my disability
- Does them testing my disability violate a labour law or something? It's being done company wide
I just want to understand a few things before I make a decision on it.
