So a multi-tiered question.
My daughter (15) works at a franchised fast food place (not mcds) for a while I didn't think her paychecks equaled hours worked and finally she told me that the owner will edit people's hours based on labor budget or just any random ass reason “oh you were lazy so I'm docking you 3hrs”
It's not so much the kids, if my math is right my daughter has only been shorted a couple hours, it's a lot worse in the FT adult workers per my kid.
So the question is, how do I prove it if my kid is being shorted? They don't have an online system, just a time card they fill out daily. Should she take a picture of the time card each day then I can try to do the math myself?
And if I can prove it who do I call? We're in Iowa.
She won't quit or go elsewhere because all her friends work there so it's fun or whatever.
