Hi all, I was a class representative in a class action mentioned in this article: https://www.nytimes.com/2021/04/27/dining/blaine-wetzel-willows-inn-lummi-island-abuse.html I am now working on wage theft policy project and need worker support. I want this to be by workers, for workers. I have met with our county prosecuting attorney to advocate for my former employer's arrest and have been invited back to meet with him and one of our state representatives. I met with a different state representative twice already as well, and they are taking my concerns seriously. More exciting is that I am meeting with the author of “Wage theft in America” Kim Bobo this afternoon via zoom and she has forwarded my concerns to religious leaders of varying faiths in my state. Hi all,
I was a class representative in a class action mentioned in this article: https://www.nytimes.com/2021/04/27/dining/blaine-wetzel-willows-inn-lummi-island-abuse.html

I am now working on wage theft policy project and need worker support.

I am not a religious person, but I do see the value in working with religious leaders as wage theft is a moral issue as well as economic.

There is press coverage in the works.

I will be protesting and (live streaming) outside of The Willows Inn, my former employer, every Saturday to disrupt their dinner service. The Willows has served a Russian Oligarch and owner of the worlds 4th most expensive Yacht as well as Mark Zuckerberg. They are leaders in the fine dining industry. Holding them accountable will send a message to many people in the dining world as well as the rich clientele whom they cater to.

If you want to watch it will be live streaming protests on facebook.com/wagetheftistheft every Saturday at 6pm

If you want to share your wage theft story or wage theft related art/media to wage theft policy project's blog, email me at
