I’m in my senior year of college and lately I’ve been trying to look for a job that is closer to my school and where I live. So I’ve been applying to a lot of places. Retail is great for me since I can work late and I don’t have school on the weekends. And since I have 4 years experience in a grocery store, I thought Walmart would be a good choice. Well I apply and eventually get a phone interview. During that phone interview they tell me I got the job. Sweet! My search is quick and easy. I’m then told to wait for an orientation email. That’s when a week goes by and nothing shows up. After some advice from family, I call. 10 times… No one can get me the hiring manager or they just don’t pick up. In the end I’ve got to accept that Walmart ghosted me. But they are still hiring!
