Hi guys, so, I've been lurking here for months now and have been excited seeing all the push for unions. However, if we really want to make a statement, we need to unionize Walmart. I live in Northwest Arkansas and know every year, they have a big shareholders week where wealthy shareholders from around the world come and tour the local Walmarts and Sam's Clubs that home office watches like a hawk. It sickens me to see Walmart go to such lengths as renting out dorms on the University of Arkansas campus for the shareholders to stay in and they hold a big concert at Razorback Stadium, meanwhile they have many employees on food stamps and struggling to afford housing. Their annual shareholders meeting is June 1st at 10:30 am CST this year. If there are any Walmart or Sam's Club employees here who want to unionize the retail giant, this is when home office will be most distracted. I'm not an employee so I'm not sure what all I can do beyond this.
