Currently I am employed as per deim, though I work between 30-35 hours on average as one of my program's main overnight staff.
Since November I've been trying to get my position changed to part-time at the encouragement of my supervisor. Their website is a little buggy so I was told the change would be made internally. I have a text from the 23rd confirming with higher ups that my application is going to be accepted and the change will be made.
Today, I find out about a bonus that full-time and part-time staff are getting tomorrow which they had to sign off for by December 2nd. I never heard a thing about this, and lo and behold, I am still per deim, therefore ineligible.
I'm literally in tears because I feel so left behind and fucked over during the holiday season. Do I have any recourse? Or am I just out of luck because higher-ups didn't process my status change in time?
