An email was sent out by a manager to my team informing us that an employee put in their resignation. We were instructed not to ask them any questions and to respect their privacy. Has anyone seen this? Is this normal? I'm wondering if this person has some strange or embarrassing circumstances leading them to quit or if management is hiding something or protecting themselves?
