In a meeting with HR we were discussing a winter storm that's gonna be swooping thru the city.
We asked them “At what point will you let us know that the office is closed due to the storm?”
Their response was “We close when the city buses close.”
Great! A metric to work with. Meeting ends, do a quick google search, and find out that the city buses haven't shut down due to weather since 1918. Well played HR. Well played. Nice way to end the meeting with hope while still giving us the finger.
