We need someone who's not a politician but also not Trump. We need someone way tf younger too, who's not corrupt or paid off by secret corps spending our agendas…
I watched a video on YT from Adam Conover regarding Private Equity Firms secretly buying up all these retailers, tech companies, hospitals and even nursing homes… Every time they take over a company through a buyout, they either go bankrupt, are in worse debt, or a huge exodus of staff as they budget cut to save money. It's NEVER good for a PE takeover. There's also little regulation so they're extremely protected.
Sorry, just venting I guess… Annoying us little guys get shit on so often in ways we don't even know. I guess ignorance is bliss after all.
If I had the patience and tolerance for all the politics (both literally and metaphorically), I'd seriously run myself, just because I couldn't possibly do any worse than the competition! The only problem is I wouldn't have any major money in my campaign cuz no company would want me making progress against them. It would be cool, though, to have some rando in the WH!
