Weird Hours

Hey, I come with y'all today for advice. I work an overnight shift. Break at 2 in the morning, nobody else but the overnights. Though we start at a specific time, we end when all the work gets done. Except for me. See, for a while I was the only person there that wasn't male. They're only giving me a day a week, and that already isn't enough for me to pay my bills. Then they started sending me home. If I didn't get enough done in their eyes (who knows how much that'll be, changes each time) then they send me home at 2 in the morning. Now, any reasonable person would think that I would get half my paycheck for those days, right? Check came in, and I only got $23. For an entire week, I had to live off of $23.

That isn't the only thing they do. They stare at me. When I walk up as they're conversing, they will stop and stare at me. They'll follow me around, act like I'm just messing everything up. Which you know, I may be. After all, they never taught me. The boys that got hired the same time as me climbed up, and soon knew everything to do with the job. I'm still not sure which product I'm allowed to stock or not.

I was starting to believe it was just me. Then, someone else came in. A woman. Of course, I warn her about what's to come up, just in case. I come to find out that, besides the hours, she's been having the same troubles as me. Being watched, being treated as though she's messing everything up, the like.

Is this legal? They've never taught us anything, just yell at us and, in my case, send me home if we get it wrong. What do we do?

TLDR; Misogyny in the work place is preventing me to pay my bills. Help.
