I work/ed for a car dealership. I had one boss and his boss, but the chain of command was always flawed. Thought the lil boss and I were cool, always talking and chatting about our lives and whatnot. So, today big boss was giving me shit for something inane and I made a comment how him and lil boss seem to frequently blow things out of proportion, like aren't we just here to sell cars and have fun and make buckets of money?
About 15 minutes later I'm outside the front doors and lil boss comes out and goes DO YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH ME?! Then, goes on to berate me, loudly, right in front of the front doors. My coworkers heard and customers heard. I calmly walked away, went to my desk, packed up all my stuff, and walked the fuck out.
Funny thing is…lil boss' days off are tied to me being able to cover his job. Now I've got a couple weeks to spring clean, hang with my dog, care for my sick fish, (lol,) and do a few puzzles.
Moral is: THERES ALWAYS ANOTHER JOB. Don't let these LDM hold you down! Fuck em and they can realize that you meant way more to them than that job means to you.
