So today my PIP ended early- and while I was told by my director and my supervisor that they saw me putting in the work, because were operating on multiple budget cuts they've still decided to go through and terminate me.
My work friend saw me packing up my office and saw me crying. She hugged me and helped walk me out. My supervisor said nothing when I came pack to my desk to pack up except to ask me for my key card.
They said I'm a smart and talented young man and that it just wasn't the right fit. I was angry, but after talking with my work friend, I realized that this was an unhealthy work environment- work cliques, working on the weekend, etc.
However, I am still gutted.
