Got a job I really enjoyed about 6 months ago. Decent pay, WFH, decent team members… now BAM. They’ve let three people go this week that I know of and they’re having an emergency meeting tomorrow after share prices have crashed 95%.
Looks like the old CV needs a polish up and sent back out again or I’ll be homeless come January.
I had a good few shitty jobs before landing on my feet with this one. Gutted doesn’t cover it.
They seem to have gotten greedy and taken a lot of risky gambles that didn’t pay off. Now we are all in unknown territory.
