Went from $10 to $28 an hour in 2 years by bouncing from job to job (6 total)

I started on a farm for $10 an hour Went to Schwan's food co for $17 an hour A metal fabricator for $20 an hour Performance Foods warehouse lead for $21 an hour Walmart Cap2 TL for $23 an hour. And now at $28 an hour union job as a lead machine operator at a cheese production factory. Never let “job loyalty” hold you back. Every employer tried to pressure me in to staying by giving me the “we're family” bullshit and guilt tripping me about how me leaving will hurt the business. The same people saying that crap would fire you in a second flat if you stopped being their best worker or costed them money by making a single mistake. You should always be looking for new jobs and never let yourself settle. I've only been at my current union job for 1.5 months…

I've only been at my current union job for 1.5 months and i already have a few jobs i've applied to offering more pay. Always look for better employment while learning as many skills as you can while at each job to make yourself more well rounded and easier able to convince the next job to hire you.
