My industry wants people to go back to the office. Commercial building landlords are panicking. They refuse to look at the housing problem and convert empty office buildings into apartment type units.
I have sent a notice to my supervisor that I will be quitting the minute I am asked to go back to commuting 2hrs a days without pay. Also it defeats the corporation goals of reducing carbon footprint since we would all be having to drive and use fossil fuels, create traffic, etc
If they make you go back to the office. Tell them to stick it where sun doesnt shine.
